You are carrying something that has changed you—grief, heartbreak, a loss that altered everything, or a life that no longer looks the way you thought it would. You may have been managing it alone for longer than anyone knows.

This is a space where that changes. Where your story is honored, your pace is respected.
Through The Courageous Yes, I offer private mentorship and transformative group experiences sourced from compassion, emotional wisdom, and the belief that healing unfolds through presence, not pressure.

If your heart has been waiting for this, you’re in the right place.

What we do together is therapeutic but is not clinical therapy. Here, what awaits you is your story, your loss, and the work of finding your way back to yourself.

You need a space where your story can be heard completely, without judgment, without anyone trying to fix it.

You want to feel joy again—not instead of your grief, but alongside it.
The person you were before this loss feels far away, and you’re not sure how to find yourself again

You are carrying something too heavy and too complicated to explain to most people and you are exhausted from trying.

Some seasons ask for deeper companionship — someone who can meet you in the truth of what you’re carrying and help you gently move forward.

Something changes when you stop carrying your grief in silence and bring it into the presence of someone who understands what grief is asking of you—not just emotionally, but in your body, your mind, and your daily life. That is where healing begins to move differently.

Lisa Goodwin

"I’ve had the privilege of knowing Bethany as a student and have seen firsthand the compassion and authenticity she brings to helping others. She meets people in their grief with kindness, patience and deep understanding. Her own experience with loss allows her to help others in a way that is heartfelt and profoundly supportive."

let's talk

If something in what I share resonates with you and you know of a gathering, community, or organization that could benefit from an honest conversation about grief, healing, and emotional wellbeing — I would love to connect. My speaking is complimentary.

  • The Courageous Yes — The case for healing your heart in a world that keeps telling you to move on
  • Loss to Liberation — You don’t have to be done grieving to begin feeling free
  • Emotional Wellbeing as Practice—Because unattended grief doesn’t disappear, it just waits

Most requested speaking topics:

We move fast, stay busy, and carry more than we ever name—loss, disappointment, heartbreak, transitions that change everything. And then one day, the weight becomes impossible to ignore.

When I speak, my intention is to help people understand why their own healing matters more than they’ve been told. Not as self-improvement but as something essential to their own wellbeing, and in some cases, even their survival. It may be one of the most courageous things a person can do.

I speak from what I’ve lived, what I’ve lost, and what I’ve come to know on the other side of it. My hope is that every person in the room leaves with permission to feel what they’ve been carrying and the quiet certainty that there is a way through.

We are living in a world that doesn’t stop to grieve.
